I visited our neighbors house last weekend and was impressed with the large variety of songbirds that were hanging out in her nice shady orange tree. We don't have any such developed fruit trees yet, so I decided to improvise a place to hang birdfeeders off the deck, high enough that the cats cant bother them. So far it seems to be working.
